I enjoyed painting along to this portrait; got a little impatient with the hair though. This time I was painting on cotton paper- and it's really a big difference to the paper I've used to paint on so far: it's great to be able to go back for instance and re-do the background. 

I might give the portrait another try at a later point in time, and practice painting hair before.
