This was such a great class. After doing all the exercises I felt like my color mixing skills had a heightened sensitivity. Here are some of my sketchbook pages and my final project.

 

I did a number of color wheels, using a variety of warm and cool primaries.

I mixed complementary colors, and created warm, cool and neutral charts and drawings.

 

I did 3 palette charts using 3 colors each.

 

And then I did 4 themed color palettes. The flower garden was done from memory, after a walk around the block. The other 3 were done from photos online. (but I have traveled to both Bermuda and Guatemala).

For my final project, I used the succulents palette and kept adding petals.
