Amazing class! Mixing a bit of blue into the black paint was a game-changing tip, the results are more vibrant colours and an easier mixing. I’m not struggling with greyish muddy colours anymore. Definitely adding Paynes Grey to my collection.

Another way to make chromatic, more vivid blacks is to mix the primary colors yellow, red, and blue together. In the mixing, you just need to make sure you add a bit more blue if you want your darks to be cool or a bit more red if you want them to be warm.
