Who knew how much fun creating in negative spaces could be?

 

 

 

It’s not easy on paper to paint around an object to create the effect, but in Procreate, that becomes much easier with more opportunity for innovation, thanks to Jennifer Nichols and her tutorial.

My first three examples above show the variety of what’s possible with just a little knowledge and practice. I’m pleasantly surprised and delighted with the results.
