Taking one of my backgrounds from a calendar page, I continued with an earthy theme with mushrooms, torn papers with neutral tones, and highlighted my text with a piece of vellum.  I kept my large mushroom white to bring it out as a focal point and then played with splatter paint and a white Posca pen for random dots.
