Winter Owl in Watercolour: Quiet Light, Soft Edges, Calm Atmosphere

This is wonderful Christine. I love your little owl's eyes, so well done. I can hardly believe he has claws and is  bird of prey, with that gentle expression. The rich brown in the feathers and detailing is amazing, still nice and loose. You created a granulated background  with blue tones that compliment those browns.

Those eyes!!!  Just draws one in, and a nice contrast to the softness of the owl's feathers. I love how the background just hints at the trees. Quite mysterious!  Well done, Christine!
