Winter illustrations into Christmas cards
Thank you so much Nina for this very detailed-oriented yet fun class! I liked that I could almost do the projects while watching and listening to you paint and giving the instructions. I managed to do all 3 projects: starting with the candle
then the Christmas ball; I had the same issue as you with the plastic wrap: the paint went outside the ball circle, so I made it bigger. At first I thought it looked terrible, but after adding the snowflakes drawings in white on it, it wasn't so bad:
and just finished the three robins, which turned out to be less difficult than anticipated! In the end I omitted the snow; I thought it looked quite good like this. But I will try the sponge technique once I get a sponge!
Adding Christmas wishes on all of them to turn them into Christmas cards. The first ones were done on A5 watercolor paper, the robins on A4. So I will probably use the candle and the ball as Christmas cards, not sure about the last one. But I am super pleased with the result!
