We still have mushrooms growing here in the Pacific Northwest, and this page was inspired form a recent nature walk! I didn't pick them, but left them in the forest, took photos and sketched at home. This was a fun, short course to really highlight the basics of nature journaling. I found it very inspiring to see the experience of journaling in the forest and also including pressed flowers and leaves into the pages. I am going to do that as well with the many pressed items I have collected! I also really loved the use of a typewriter for the labelling - very creative!
