Expressive Florals in Watercolor: Soft Color, Rhythm & Light

Your bouquet is loosely done and harmonious.

Thank you, Naidu. I have been triyng  to work on the light touch and color applications. Your comment means a lot.

So beautiful, soft and delicate! Love it!

Thank you, my friend. I really loved this one and I have been working on the light application of paint.

Thank you so much Kris, this is such a lovely result and I really appreciate all your thoughtful words about the class in your review. I love how you embraced the negative painting and allowed those darker shapes to bring the lighter flowers forward, the whole piece has such a beautiful sense of depth and harmony. It is also wonderful to hear that the light to dark process and preserving the whites really clicked for you, because those decisions make such a difference in watercolour. I am glad the little touches of gouache felt useful too, and you have handled them with a lovely light touch here. Most of all, I’m so happy the class felt joyful and experimental, that is exactly the feeling I hope to encourage.

You captured the delicate nature of this

Love  the movement you've captured and the  background that  dark green really lovely kris 😍
