Watercolor Portraits: Combining Realism and the Abstract

A fine loose watercolor Deborah.I like the interlocking color fields and the fine inking. The green on the left is a very effective color note. Green will bring radiance to all skin tones when placed beside the complexion.

WOW from what is showing, you have an awesome painting. Like the colours used with wonderful whimsical details throughout her hair. The eyes are very captivating. Happy you liked my leaves, otherwise, I'd never had seen your beautiful painting.

Thanks so much for posting, Deborah! What I can see of your project looks great! I like how you added pattern to the hair!  However, it looks like you just uploaded a preview image, which is why it isn't fully visible. When you go to create a project, there's the button at the top that says "upload image," which is the preview image uploader. Below that there's "Project Title" and "Start Typing...", and below that, there's an "Add Content" section, and that's where you can upload the full image into the main body of the project. :)
