Why do I always choose the most difficult designs?

I've been embroidering since I was a child, but I never did it in this form. I wanted to make patches for two or three years now... I haven't been confident enough to actually do it though. Then, I bought a plane black college and I had to make it into hot anime merch, so I finally gathered the courage and made some patches:
Do you know the Anime?
Here's my first one:
I didn't use felt, but a woven fabric. The structure helped with distances, but it also frayed like crazy. Also, the filling satin stich "swallowed" all the details I had done alongside the outlines, so I had to embroider over the details again...
For my next one, I did the outlines first, then filled it in and left the details for last:
You might think, that this method would have saved me some time, but no - it didn't. I figured that doing the details together with the outline was the besser technique, since they work as guidelines while filling everything it. I also think, that the details I added afterwards look a little wonky. So, for the next I went back to double embroidering the details, before and after filling.
This one is my personal favourite. I added some embroidery stabilizer and this was a total game changer!
All that was left, was a cool chest patch to complete the college jacket look. I chose the anime's logo and after all that practice, it came out great:
I also documented the whole process on my YouTube channel, if you are interested in some fun and chaotic trial and error :D
