While I love creating with just about every illustration app, Designer is my favorite; I'm also quite partial to creating in vectors for many reasons. Vectors can be challenging though... especially when you don't want them to look so "vectory." (I've decided that is going to be a word...)

I hope you enjoy learning a few of the methods I use to add texture and effects to my flat vectors in Affinity Designer, and that you have fun incorporating them in to your own designs.
