Where To Go From Here

I have been learning and posting artwork randomly for the last two years - almost all of my work is on Instagram (and Facebook) because I thought it would be a great place to post for free (https://www.instagram.com/chrissysloart/). Recently I completed a mini collection challenge and actually put a lot more thought into what I was making, repurposing patterns already made, and thinking about being cohesive. I'd like to continue to be more focused and figure out how to actually get some licensing from here.

  1. I want to decide WHAT I want to create/pitch licensing for (products)
  2. I want to create some thoughtful collections tailored to this goal
  3. I want to create a portfolio (website? where is the best place to put your portfolio?)
  4. I want to focus and organize what art time I do have (I work a full-time corporate job) to be more productive (no more just random learning unless I just want to learn something for fun)

Is Pinterest a good place for showcasing my work? Can I create collection sheets/sell sheets in Procreate or should they be in Affinity? I am new to Affinity and can work my way around the basics. I've created some flat illustrations there, converted a pattern from the collection below into vectors, and created a pattern or two there as well from scratch. I have more to learn. I am much more adept with Procreate, but there is always the sizing issue and layers issue there.

I am part of several artist online communities but want to be mindful in choosing where to remain active with a goal towards pitching my work by the end of this year and having a body of work (portfolio) to refer to/pitch. (Scary! LOL)

Thanks for all the good thoughts and tips.
