Thank you for such a thorough overview of watercolour supplies. I learned a lot and it was nice to see all the different types of products and tools.

My favorite a-ha moment was the travel kits! I'm excited to make my own travel kit using a metal tin with magnets on the bottom of the little half pans of paint.

This class helped me me decide what I did want, what I didn't want, and what to settle for now and invest in later.  I definitely want to get professional grade watercolours, not student grade. I'm still trying to decide between getting half pans or tubes. It also helped me decide to use the cheaper student grade paper rather than professional paper while I'm still learning techniques. I also decided that while I would love to have the kolinsky sable brushes, those are on my wish list for Christmas or birthday presents. At this point, I'm just going to get some mid grade brushes.
