Wet on wet
The mouse didn't go according to the plan, at all. The paynes gray I used for the fur reactivated when I've rewet the surface ace and I had to pretty much repaint the entire mouse each time I needed to wet the surface. In the end I got a cute little mouse, but I had to use wet on dry and softening off the edges

I had to go off the tangent with the main project as well, the initial tones were way too light, so after the entire piece was dry I've rewet it again and pretty much repainted all the darker values.
So after the first wash I ended up with fain blurry lines and in the second wash I did the darker values. To be able to get any type of detail in the foreground I had to dab the brush on a piece of paper every time I was reloading it with colour.
oh yes, and also ended up with a huge bloom in the top left
