Watercolour Kitties and Fun
I enjoyed having a bit of a play and experimenting, I can struggle with this and like to work on one full, finished piece at a time! I'm trying to start a little sketchbook practice so put the funky flower cat as my first piece in my new sketchbook. I tried to make her eyes a bit funny and cross-eyed (or the opposite of cross-eyed?) on purpose but she just turned out cute... Happy accidents!
Thank you for the tips and inspiration! I might try the other cat-hair piece on another page some time.
Just my little Cotmans watercolour set, Reeves watercolour paper (25% cotton), misc watercolour brushes, a Uniball eye micro pen, Bruynzeel watercolour pencils, Arteza white gouache, Uniball white gel pen

A few days later I did the little cat lady, featuring my two cats - Pippin looking very suspicious and Ponyo angelic (not!) as always :) You can also see a little ink and wash chicken family I did while I was feeling the flow.
