This is awesome! I really love how you captured her red handbag - such cool textures - as well as how you created a cool, moody atmosphere.

I love your umbrella- you’ve managed to make it very 3 dimensional! You’ve also managed to get great texture and movement into the coat and hair and the bag is really well executed….i wish I’d added the pockets now

Hi Noelia, this is a great painting, well done. You've achieved some fabulous contrast in the tonal values of the key figure which give the painting a lot of strength. Thanks, Joanne! Oh... I'm so sorry about what you said about the salt. Have you tried it on different types of paper? I think the humidity of the paper when you apply the salt is one of the keys. Not too much water, not too dry: just moist! This time I used fine table salt. With coarse salt, the effect is different.
