Yes, and I don't know these pencils in particular and how they feel while coloring, but I know some brands will give you different results too, so it's worth trying it maybe with the Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer because they make the experience so much more enjoyable :)

Maybe you're right ! During use, I had the impression that the color was weak and washed out too much. I have Faber Castel but they are easily over 20 years old.as well as their cheap school variety and a pack of Czech crayons I also had a limited palette. Maybe you're right, there's no point in getting discouraged, just keep trying

Thank you :D I wanted to try the crayon but I don't know. I must consider. in fact, some more juicy, bright colors in real life. Maybe it's a matter of improving the bleeding and it would be better... it's not bad, but I prefer watercolors. Thank you for your comment. Do you like crayons? Any ?

I haven't used crayons since childhood. I do have a variety of oil pastels and the chalk pastels  and also colored pencils.  I also like watercolor. I think I did this apple with watercolor pencils but a cheap brand so was not too bright. I personally like your apples....

I feel the same way. I have dry pastels and oil pastels. Lots of different crayons. Cheap expensive ones. You know how it is: they are all loved and I like having them even in a box hahah you never know when they will come in handy

I have had watercolor crayons for years. They are my nice souvenir from my stay in Luxembourg. They still have a price in francs hahah they are very old Unfortunately, this is probably not my favorite technique. BUT I tried... maybe one day I will find a use for them
