So I tried my project with watercolor pencils by Faber Castell. I didn't have those three values for each color segment and accidentally I used a Moleskine sketchbook, so that didn't work out very well.

Nevertheless I learned a lot and had a lot of fun and aside from the water section I really like the outcome.
