These plants were so fun to paint! We used a lot of wet-on-wet technique to lay down some lighter washes and play around with blending colors. As unpredictable as watercolors can be, I hope this class helped you become more comfortable with this technique.

I also hope that you can now take this skill and apply it to other subjects! Try laying a light wash down, and while it's still wet, add in darker, saturated colors and see what happens. Try to control how far it goes by making certain areas darker, or lift areas that you want to fix.
