Chose a muted brown and zingy aqua! Enjoyed mixing up media (acryla gouache, neocolor & neon pencil) and layer up on textures.

 

 

It appears I was influenced by paint swatches hanging around my desk! I will try pair neon more with dull tones in future – I like the uneasy contrast.

 

I regret smoothing neocolor crayons too much overall, as I lost some satisfying scratchy textures – especially on the apple!! *sigh*
