Violeta's Class Projects ~
Activity 1: Texture Swatches Activity
There were so many textures I wanted to try, but since I have limited time right now and some of the textures were already beautifully done by the other students, I narrowed my output to 16. I might still use other textures for my final project but I want to share the ones that inspired me the most. Also, thanks to Ariel Lerman for the awesome Pinterest inspiration board she shared. It really got me excited to start painting! :)
Textures inspired by nature.
Textures that are more abstract and graphic.
After I was done, I decided to make a reference tag out of this activity too. Just like the one I did for the "Baby Planets" activity from Ana's previous classes. I used a corner rounder punch to make the edges look nicer then I punched holes on the corners so I can thread a twine through the cards neatly.
Texture and Experimental watercolor reference tags!

Thank you once again for the awesome class Ana! I always learn something very useful from your classes that I can apply to my future paintings and make them better. :)
