This is such an enjoyable class even though there is a lot of work. My 4 year old granddaughter is really keen on fairies. She is moving to a bigger apartment in January where she and her twin brother will have separate rooms. I have framed the fairy to go on her wall. 
I used gold ink for the background even though I knew it would take several coats to get a nice finish. I thought she would like the gold and it reminds me of the background to old icons in Russian churches. I couldn’t get either of my white gel pens to write on the tracing paper so I used gold for the lines on the wings. I think it fits in well.
