really loving the motion one, great stuff! the transparency combined with those dudes staying in focus give it a nice look. the colors are nice and soft too, which for a night shot is sometimes hard to achieve.  really need to come visit Boston, have heard great things about.

I really like the street portrait shot, markets are great locations. people seem to feel comfortable getting their photo taken there too. I'm also a real big fan of the motion blur shot. colors are great and the transparency to it is also really nice.  the lookup is also really clean. I just don't feel like the nighttime shot fits in with the rest of the set. but overall. really clean!  Cheers!

Hey man,First off, I want to thank your for putting on these classes, they are a huge help for me and I learn so much. I really appreciate you commenting and giving me feedback, that's huge! As for my project, I love shooting at markets, for me I get to be out of the way and just capture people doing what they do to survive, it's real and that's what I go for in my photography. The motion blur shot took some time, I was there for over an hour in that same spot waiting for the right moment. I was really glad that the people in the shot didn't move while I was taking the photo, it gives a nice contrast to the moving carousel, I was really surprised with that one. I agree with you on the night shot, I was trying to get a bit of variety in there but to be honest I was reluctant to submit it with the rest of the images for this project. Keep doing what you're doing man, your work is amazing and Inspiring. Maybe I'll get to meet and shoot with you one day! Have a good one.- Devin

As a fellow Bostonian I'm loving these pictures. Like everyone else I love the one from Haymarket. Were you shooting on the same focal length for all of these?  Is the Carousel the one in the Common or Outside Gov't Center? Keep Up the good work!

Thanks man! Boston is such a great city to photograph in all kinds of weather and both day and night. The carousel is outside of Gov't Center. My focal length was at 24mm for 2 of them, 35mm for the Carousel and 50mm for the street portrait. I wanted to be in tight for that one to crop out the distractions.

Thank you! I waited there for awhile to find the right person I wanted to photograph, luckily he wasn't paying attention to me because I wanted to get him doing what he does naturally without noticing the camera.
