One more step in my quest to eat all 5,000 plus varieties of potatoes:

Up To Date potatoes! (Well potato). From 6 potato plants came one tough tiny potato! I knew it was too late in the year to plant them but I figured I would give it a shot. With a hot summer, I only was able to grow one tiny potato. I will have to try and find some more, but even in one teeny tiny potato I could taste the flavor. It was a little nutty. Definitely a flavorful potato. I can't wait to try them for real. A little on the dry side. I steamed this one because it seemed like the gentlest way to cook such a tiny potato.
