I do not own any fancy drawing materials, so I just had a pad of paper and a mechanical pencil. I really appreciated how Brett broke down the stages of drawing from gesture marks to basic shapes, and then contour lines. It really clicked practicing this evolution, and I look forward to learning more (still have a long way to go).
