Hi Liana. My instant reaction when seeing your project is WOW!  I know as artists, we spontaneously self-criticize, so I understand what it's like to zone in on the parts of a project that we're less pleased with (you mention the skin tone). What has helped me get over the initial disappointment when my pieces turn out in unexpected ways is to make a note of it and write down the steps/ corrections I will take for next time. Then I look at the project again and celebrate what went well. There's a lot to celebrate here. As a teacher, your project makes me proud because you incorporated every single element discussed in class (the Mucha-style elements) and made your own magic with it. Thanks so much for sharing your project with the class here. I know it took courage to post since you titled it "Ugh" but I assure you, master Mucha would react as I did with an approving "wow".

Had it not been for the hideous yellow skin tone I would have liked it.
