Turning My Articles into Videos

Turning My Articles into Videos - student project

I’ve been writing for the last three years about ways to compensate for ADHD especially in late-diagnosed professional adults. One of my most popular articles recently was about “the Axioms of ADHD”. I also am an avid sketchnoter, and I think it will help my videos stand out if I illustrate the concepts with my own drawings, rather than stock images.

So since I’ve already got the script, and already know how to edit, my project this week is to use my “Magic Desk Hour” (so named based on another article I wrote a while back about a quilt pattern artist) to get the first of what will hopefully be many videos posted to my YouTube channel (and possibly LinkedIn/Substack/Vimeo/wherever else).

I’ve got my task list posted above, and my only issue is that I’m not sure how to fit 9 hours of work into 7 allotted hours of time. I was (I think/hope) generous in my time allotment, so maybe it will work out.

Wish me luck! And thank you, Jade, for your wonderful course. It’s the perfect length and level of accessibility to make this feel doable. And your delivery and production professionalism REALLY show.
