Mobile Product Photography with an iPhone at Home

Hey Alicia! I am so happy that you came across my course and submitted your photos! Is that the product that you make yourself? It is very beautiful!! I would suggest you to change your background. It is apparent that it is a blanket (or something like that) because of the seams that go across. Try to think of a better solution. Check out your local craft stores for colourful papers. Ideally, I would recommend you invest in a few vinyl backdrops that imitate beautiful bathroom tiles. That would take your photography to the next level!The photos with 2 soap pieces do not show the best angle of the product - the golden top. I loved how you stacked 3 products together though. very cool idea. You have got good soft lighting too! Another great idea could be to use honey comb or honey dipper with some golden honey as props for the photos! Check out your local home decor shops, they might have some pieces related to honey (hexagon shapes coasters, honey jars, etc). Take some risks with your photos! And feel free to send more. Thank you so much for your comments! I have some flat lay vinyl I may try. And that's a great idea with the honey dipper! I'll try those too! And yes I do make these myself. This is my small business focus!

I added 2 more photos and I'd love your feedback on them!  Money is tight so I had to use what I had on hand which was the honey.  But I'm hoping to invest in some props soon!

The new background is so much better! Great choice :) I think the first photo is the best one. I liked how you spilled the honey, this adds an element of chaos and makes the photo look more interesting! I would recommend taking off the labels or not using branded jars, so the honey brand does not become the main subject. You could use a bit of honey and the dipper as well as a little pile of turmeric. And just for fun you could put the dipper in the spilled honey and pour more from the top, while having your camera on a timer to capture the shot (but that's just a suggestion to play)!
