Made this at a play date in South Africa with my friend Jeanette Hawkins (who posted her first concertina journal here some time ago).

The covers are painted with vibrant Mungyo watercolors, black acrylic pounced through mark-making stencils and topped with Kuretake Gold Mica paste through a starry stencil.  

The concertina pages are made with Aquarelle 30gsm paper.

Finally, a piece of dramatic black chiffon acts as a bellyband around the journal.
