As I prepare to make my own video project, I went searching for more transition inspiration from Matty's work. I really love how he handles transitions in The Piano. The music and sound match with the transitions so perfectly, and it's an incredible example of how transitions can totally transform the overall mood of the piece. I noticed that he started off with simpler transitions, just cutting from one shot to the next, before building to more complex transitions like the Whoosh. Can't wait to try this in my own work!
