Loved this class!  I couldn't find a gradient that I liked when you were talking about the gradients vs. just lowering the opacity so I lowered the opacity and then added the texture and changed the blend mode to something I liked and then I added a gradient. I really liked how it turned out. 

I had some challenges making the HUD ring itself but decided to not worry about being a perfectionist and just went with it.  Super cool project Helen!!
