"The rule is, jam tomorrow and jam yesterday but never jam today"
Sketches:
I was unsure what phrase or quotation to use that could be used in an application (book cover or magazine, product, etc.) After thinking what to do for 2 days, I came with the idea and I picked a phrase from the book: Through the looking glass and what Alice found there by Lewis Caroll.
I did some research and I found some interesting facts...
This is an expression for a never-fulfilled promise. The meaning is: Some pleasant event in the future, which is never likely to materialize.
I am only using a fragment from the original phrase.
While I was browsing for images, I saw many different and incredible designs based on this book/story and it was very easy to get inspired. I am not very experienced drawing but I love the idea of learning to put together some concepts and come out with a hand letter-design.
Well, I would like to share my draft. I know I may have to realign the text and made some adjustments, changes and possible many improvements. This is my first time trying to design something like this and I hope to improve with practice and learn new things from this class and your feedback...
Thank you for looking my work :)
Tania
