The Barcelona 5

It's now Year 5 for my sister and me visiting the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona. When my sister Aniko suggested to do this Skillshare project during the trip, I jumped at the opportunity to extend my photographic vocabulary. And there few cities as beautiful as Barcelona, what a great subject!

Middle Of The Road

The city is famous for its roads - La Rambla, the Diagonal are iconic. My shot however came from the Primavera venue, and from a 90 degrees turn :)

Off the Beaten Track

In Barcelona, even the hidden side streets are beautiful, I've captured this door with the scribbling on the way to an amazing tapas lunch.

Bird's Eye View

OK, I'm cheating here a bit, I think it's more like a Street Photo candid shot of these birds watching over the Parc Guell.

Signs of Life

This is my favourite category, as my passion is very much capturing street life. These guys are certainly busy and the decisive moment is pointed out by our subject's stern gesture.

The Postcard Shot

I've struggled a lot to get the iconic shot - shooting the "big" Barcelona landmarks is HARD with no access to roofs, buildings across the landmark, and the view is chaotic and often obstructed from ground level. I got lucky to steal this nice posed view from a tourist's expensive assisted selfie shot.

I had A LOT of fun chasing these five shots, and I'll certainly will keep these types of shots in mind during my travels. Looking forward to see my sister's project!
