I wanted to test out some of the things I learned in manual mode.  The flower photo is a test of depth of field. I wanted to keep the center flower in focus, with the rest blurred, but I was too close and the flower off to the right was in focus instead. The 2 water photos were testing shutter speed, with one at 1/60 and the other at 1/125. I wish that I had used a faster shutter speed, so that the difference would be more pronounced. The birch tree and railroad crossing were testing ISO, though the trees came out a little darker than I would have liked.
