Animated illustration based on Dorothy Siemens 'Sunny'. I chose this one specifically because I knew it would translate to after effects animation well. It has bold shapes with flat colours so mostly what is needed is to add textures and then come up with the way it moves. The character is quite constrained to the frame of the image so that restricts the movement possibilities quite a lot but for the purposes of this class I think it's a great example of the process, and I had a lot of fun making it :)
