7 Days of Watercolor Sunsets: Practice Blending and Color Mixing

Love your version, too!  Great blending and color mixing. The textured foreground and varying shades of green make this visually appealing. How you did the transition in the background and avoided accidentally mixing greens in the sky is spot on. The lamp posts complement all the organic shapes. If there's one thing I'd recommend you do in your next sunset project, that would be using a darker sky color for the clouds instead of black so it wouldn't pop out too much. But aside from that, I'm also happy for your project. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us! :) P.S. Sorry I don't know how to address you since your profile shows "SkillShare Member" as your name.

Thank you! Your comments means so much to me. I don’t remember if I used black for the sky or not, but my pallet have black mix with, I’ll make sure to clean it before my next painting. I know I rushed the birds and used black instead of color matching with the sky liked you have mentioned. I can see how it showed I rushed, I’ll have to keep in mind art can’t be rush, if I must, leave it until I come back to it.  My name is Stacyi.
