Wow Julie, I am in love with your artwork! What a wonderful, unique version of the witch portrait! She's stunning and I love that I can really feel your style. I especially like the moon phases framing her. In fact, I love them so much, I might steal that ;) I was wondering what would happen if you'd remove the outlines around her hair, face, ears, and mouth. I think it could give the witch an even more minimalist vibe. What do you think...? I hope you'll join another of my Minimal in Minutes. I'd love to see you back. I have done what you pointed out and you are so right, eliminating those lines really helps with the clarity and simplicity of the piece. I think you did great from the start! 😉 But yeah, sometimes removing some elements helps with clarity... She definitely didn't need the line around the hair, and mouth, yet keeping some of the lines in her face helped giving her personality and expression — so it's all about balance. You did great and I'm happy to see you were open to experiment further. Thank you for your trust ❤️
