Summer Flames: Organic Gradient Patterns

Gradient Mesh patterns look fantastic in a large scale and particularly on soft materials (such as textiles) which have their own flow and distortions, so in this project I have experimented with the meshes specifically having in mind various summer clothing and accessories. But if you push the distortions further (by using a more complex mesh to start with) and apply other colour palettes, I can see these patterns being used in a lot of different ways — and I cannot wait to see your take on them!

I love more dynamic looking patterns, so all of my favourites include sheared variants, and I am also more into half-drop and half-brick variants, but some gridded patterns also work pretty well, so here are some of my top picks from the class:
