It's been a long time since I have illustrated anything, and since I recently have become a freelance designer, I feel like now would be a good time to get back into it. I felt pretty lost on where to start and trying to remember where I left off and where I want to go next so this class was super helpful in forcing me to go back to basics. 

I used to draw a lot more realistic, but after looking through all the artists I have been drawn to lately, I realized it was time to explore a less realistic style that was more minimalist an exaggerated a bit more with a fuller looking body. 

Ultimately, I found that I had the most fun with a lighter, more dream like palette that combined a more hand drawn look with texture and not so much filled in heavy colours. It was so much fun being able to use different brushes and textures in Procreate! I'm happy with how it turned out!
