This was a really wonderful project!  I used a cabochon I'd received years ago and had always been to nervous to try in a bezel setting.  I think it's lapis lazuli.  I had even bought some bezel wire but it was way too wide for the stone so there was a lot to sand down to get it the correct size.  I textured the back plate around the stone.  The hardest part was getting a good photo of the ring that shows the texture and didn't have a glare from the silver.
