Hi Michael,Great work here especially with the hatching to get accurate values - not just the shadows but subtle values like getting the limes slightly darker than the lemon. The direction of your hatching lines accentuate the form of each element including the flat bottom of the bowl.Just one thing, again be careful with those outlines...it's a hard habit to break because you want to define something and make the edge harder but just make sure the outlines match the shading value. For cross hatching like this I'd get rid of any outlines on the light side eg the top of the lemon, top of the lime on the left, before adding the hatching. It will just further enhance the roundness and 3D illusion by having that light edge. The bottom edges in shadow it doesn't matter so much if there is a darker line.It's a small thing and please take it as constructive feedback not a criticism because I think if you can keep it in mind when you draw, it will make a significant difference to your drawings.That said, everything feels solid and three dimensional, the shape of that bowl is really good!

Thank you for the feedback, I demand to be criticised. Please criticise me more if you notice some misstakes. I want to improve. 
In Europe it's hard to get criticism, because most people take it as a blame. 
I know what you mean and I have already managed to make the light of a pear blend into the white of the sheet with watercolours.
But in my drawings I can't really use the strokes yet to subtly define the outlines. I have to work on it, I try to intuitively adapt the strokes to the form, but I don't have a technique for the outlines.

I think you are working the right way, there still needs to be an outline when you are cross hatching, at least at first. Try erasing all the outlines so you can only just see them after you've done the initial sketch - then they will still be there to structure the drawing but they wont disrupt the values and you can decide later if you want to make any of the outlines darker :)
