Affinity Designer V2 | Stained Glass Vector Heart Shape

This is beautiful Luitgard! I love that you experimented with the design and made it your own. The glass textures look really good, and I love that you had a play with varying the grouping of the petals on the stained glass flower.  One quick tip...For your highlights, you want to move them to the other side since you have your shadows down and to the right. On the iPad version, you can find Azimuth under the bottom slider on the right. Just tap on the icon underneath the slider under it says Azimuth, then you can either key in a number or drag the slider. The shadows look great. Excellent work, all around! I'm so happy you enjoyed creating these. Thank you so much for sharing, and for taking the class!

Hi Tracey: Do you see any improvement in my new heart shape?

Most definitely Luitgard! I love that the leading lines have some texture of their own (like up at the top right of the heart). The highlights being moved to the upper left of your shapes goes a long way as well as now they read the way they should with the shadows being down and to the right. I especially love that the very red fill at the bottom left is sitting in such a way that there is a reflection that reads as if something is sitting off to the left, the same as the light direction you chose. Great work!!!

Thank you, Tracey! Experimenting with the glass textures and gradients was  very delightful! I used the iPad-Version and I am not completely sure, if I got the shadows and other things right.
