Stable diffusion - ToA concept arts - student project

A collection of stable diffusion images inspired by a popular RPG campaign - Tomb of Annihilation.

I started by generating a few txt2img prompts for a character of a native sorceress corrupted by shadow. I picked two images with features i was looking for.

I tried varying the first image, hoping to add some of the tattoos and features from the 2nd one. The middle result had a grim atmosphere I was looking for without affecting the core character features and pose too much. I finished by inpainting a few background features and upscaling the final image.

I then worked with img2img inpaiting to transform an original sketch into a coloured version, choosing watercolour as a reference style which worked really well for the sky and environment but struggled to keep the original's composition for the city and I completely left the complex characters. I then upscaled the final image
