I practiced some highlights, midlights, and a shadow on my snail. While the instructor knows how to create three dimensional objects through the use of colors, I just feel that there could be a better pacing and explanations behind the choices that are made.

 It moves so quickly through the color panels without explaining why those colors are selected.  I can see through examples of the direction of the light source, but struggle with the concept of light placement and  blending techniques. I had to look up a video on using the smudge tool and the best type of brush for blending. The video was very quickly paced and would be helpful to slow each video down for the steps to explain the process. I can see the process, but I do not understand the why behind the process.  While I have had some practice in using these techniques I have been out of practice for a long time. I feel that those who have never done this before may struggle a bit to grasp the concept. Obviously knowing how to use procreate before this class is a must.
