Slow Cookin' on a Tuesday
My roommate and I just bought a slow cooker, so I'm excited to see what else I can do besides pulled pork, but it was definitely super easy to prep. For my spice rub, I used brown sugar, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder, cumin, and a pinch of cinnamon.
Here's the "before" picture (kept the fat because it's honestly the best part, and I added some onions and garlic as my sister taught me)...
And here it is after 8 hours...
Mmmm... I liked that there was a flavourful crust that formed around the meat. Made a bit of creamy potato salad to accompany it.
