1 Expression: 
Choose an emotional word and create a composition using only black squares

2 Balance:
Create and share a composition which feels balanced. Experiment with shapes and darknesses.
See if you can create a balanced composition with multiple shapes on it.

3 Contrast:
Create a composition with some element of contrast.

4 Form:
Recreate one of your earlier compositions but play with the textures and lines to create more interesting forms.

5 Hierarchy:
Create a composition with multiple shapes. Ensure that your eye is drawn to one shape first and and another second. So there is an order that you look around the composition.

6 Relations:
Create a composition where some elements feel like they are related together.

7. Alignement:
Recreate your favourite composition so far but align the elements or restrict the sizes you can use so it looks more conformed.

8. Sequence & Pace:
Create a vertical composition that has different sized coloured backgrounds. Add other shapes using everything you experimented with in the previous exercises.
