Sketches From A Daily Routine Of Sketching Daily

Sketches From A Daily Routine Of Sketching Daily - student project

Here are some examples of loose expressive pen sketches. I spend just under 20 minutes a day to sketch. Observing my subjects directly is my favourite way to sketch, as I enjoy the deep understanding I get from observing it in person.

Blind contour and semi blind sketching are my favourite ways to sketch while relaxing. I like moving my hand across paper, while mindfully observing an object I love.

Quality of the lines: Using light and heavy lines. This was a great practice that helped me observe the darker and lighter areas on my reference.
