Stepping way outside of my comfort zone with watercolour for this project, actually this may be my only finished watercolour piece. I did end up mixing in some coloured pencils at the end.

Today was pretty warm so I wanted to spend a bit of time tending to my indoor garden. I have a lot of cacti and succulents in little handmade ceramic pots, the pot I wanted to draw is one I made about 2 years ago which is skull shaped with some artistic adjustments so it would actually function as a pot.

This was a great class which got my ideas flowing really easily, I don't think I would be able to keep up with these entries on a daily basis but it's definitely something I want to practice at least weekly.

So I am loving what I have learnt in this class! Journal entries allow me to document what has happened and draw daily without sitting at my desk for ages trying to figure out what to draw. I am really looking forward to trying some of the other layouts too.
