Drawer

Sketch

Sketch - image 1 - student projectThe challenge for this creation is to redesign a vector drawing application to facilitate the production of publications for social networks.

- Context
Illustrator is the best tool for drawing, but I'm slowly replacing it with Figma and Adobe XD for making small simple images, for social media or just for use. In these specific cases, Illustrator is not the best choice.

Hijacking functions such as components makes it possible to modify a moodboard, a branding or a feed with a single gesture. Figma is also useful for me to make content on social networks. But this software is designed for interface design and not drawing.

I would like to create an application that would bring drawing closer to the UI. Like a Figma/Procreate hybrid

- Process
I design the interface to give an idea of the project. I mainly used Adobe XD to make this mockup. Photoshop, Illustrator and me were helpful to the project.

For the realization of this project, I wanted to get closer to an Apple interface. Getting closer to the existing saves development time on simple interfaces to spend more on the development of features.

- My creative vision
I have always liked to draw. The first software I learned to use is Illustrator. And today, while it's software that I know, I'm still surprised to find its interface horribly complicated. I was delighted to see my favorite application on the Ipad, unfortunately the experience was limited on the tablet. While Figma (the browser version) is perfectly usable on a tablet.

My interest in design has evolved quite a bit and is now moving towards the UI for the simplification of graphic messages. As a social media manager and graphic designer, I need a simple tool to create simple messages from any tool.
